Hello everyone!

Brellik here with a devlog on how things are progressing for the next release. This update is going to be a bit special, as we’ll learn more about Samui and the MC’s past, introduce some awesome features and characters, and experiment with some animations. I won’t spoil much, but I think you’ll like it!

🚀 Progress 🚀

The biggest challenge of this update is the visuals, as the script I wrote requires lots of images. Using AI to generate them is like rolling a dice with a million faces. You never know what you’re going to get. Maybe it’s a masterpiece, maybe it’s a disaster. I have to make sure the images are consistent, with the right lighting, background, characters, etc. Sometimes I can get the image I want in just 100 tries, other times it takes more than 600 generated images to finally have the image I’m satisfied with.

It’s part of the grind, but all that grind pays off! So many people joined my Patreon and are giving me their hard-earned money. It makes all the work worth it! Thank you so much, everybody who is supporting me! I love you all! 😍

🆕 New Features 🆕

This update will introduce two new features: the chakra management and the outfit feature.

💥 Chakra management💥

Now you can manage the MC’s chakra, use it on people, cultivate it, regenerate it, and spend it. You already know about the chakra pills that you can buy to increase your chakra, but there will be other ways to do so.

👗 Outfit rewards👗

This new feature is related to the “extra” option. Not going to spoil more than that, but I'm sure everybody will enjoy it.

The spicy edition will have full access to this new feature. The public edition will have access to this feature too but will be limited.

🙋‍♀️ New Characters 🙋‍♀️

Two new characters will appear in the next update. One is canon in the Naruto universe, and one is created by me. I won’t say much about them to avoid spoilers, but as usual, they’ll be as well-proportioned and well-generated as the rest of the cast.

🎞️ Animations 🎞️

I’ve started experimenting with a new program called Live2D. The learning curve is a bit steep, but the results I see on the net are really great. Next to the visuals, the animations are what take most of my time right now. Learning the program from scratch and making animations is very time-consuming. That’s why I don’t want to give a release date yet. I’m still a new dev and I’m still learning all these new tools that I use in my game. While I keep working on my game and gain experience, I'll be able to know how much time each tasks takes me then I’ll be able to give an early release date.

The patreon poll will close on December 1st, so make sure you cast your vote before then! In the meantime, I want to answer some questions that I have been asked by some of you about it:

• What are we voting for again? Two new customers that will appear in the minigame, with their own mini quest to unlock them + their item that you'll have to equip to spawn them + one more surprise 🤫.
• Are the characters going to look like the promo image you had on the poll? No, they won’t. The promo image was just a showcase of the options you could choose from, not the final design. The two winners will look more consistent with the general art style of the game.
• Are the eliminated characters going to appear again in another character vote? There is no shortage of characters to choose from to put in my game, so whoever loses the character vote will probably not get a second chance. But that might change depending on the feedback and demand.
• Is the spicy version going to affect these new characters too? Yes, it will. The chili pepper will have the same effect on all customers, so whoever the two winners are, there will be a hot and sweaty version of them in the game.
